Called It
Log what you expect to learn before a course, then prove how much you actually grew.
Your training partner signs that you showed up, and that is all that goes onchain.
Try it live, freeTunde trains for his first half marathon with two friends. After each session one of them taps to witness it. No distances, heart rates or body data are stored, just a signed 'was there' with a date. Twelve weeks later he has a streak of witnessed sessions he can share, earned through people, not wearables.
Session check-in with partner witness signature, date-only attestation, streak page, crew view. No health data stored.
Reshape it entirely: new features, your flows, your brand end to end, integrations you need. We scope it with you.
Proves consistency through a human witness instead of device data, so nothing health-related ever touches the chain, and there are no stakes or payouts.
Apefit (ETHGlobal) had buddies attest challenge completion with ApeCoin stakes; Trend and Verifit attest workouts via Sign Protocol; CredStreak stakes ETH on zkTLS Strava proofs. All attest workout activity or add staking; none store only a presence witness.
Checked with web searches in October 2026. A search is not proof that nothing similar exists, and the market moves fast, so we recheck before every build.
Public-good attestation app on the Superchain.
The complete Sweat Witness app: runners get each session signed by a friend who was there, building a streak made of people, with only a name and a date onchain and no body data ever collected.
Every buyer gets the same finished app. Basic branding and copy changes come through a quick form.
Your admin side: revenue, paywall editor, users, rules and the agent log.
Referral and growth mechanics, switched on when you are ready to grow.
Runners never pay to get signed or to sign for friends. Crews pay a small monthly fee for stricter rules, full history, seasons and the weekly summary, and run clubs pay monthly to cover every member.
Gas is about $0.003 per signature on Base and can be sponsored by the owner. Race series pricing is set per event.
Prices are yours to set. Illustrative, not a promise of income.
Your training partner signs that you showed up, and that is all that goes onchain.
Problem: People training for something want to keep showing up, but trackers log their bodies, and run clubs have no honest record of attendance that is not a fitness device.
Solution: After each session a friend standing next to you signs a rotating code. An attestation with three fields, runner, witness and day, builds a streak made of people. No distance, pace, heart rate or location is ever collected.
Why now: Sponsored attestations on Base cost a fraction of a cent, embedded email wallets remove seed phrases, and people are tired of handing body data to apps.
Market: Run clubs, training crews, coaches and race series, then any group people show up for: walking groups, choirs, rehab classes.
The ask: Pilot clubs in Lagos and one race series, and public goods funding such as the Optimism Grants Council.
Funding is never guaranteed. Check each program's rules.
Many hackathons require code written at the event. See the Regatta Boardfor each race's rule.
Custom work from $500: your own crew branding, other activities and witness statements, a club CRM or race registration integration, extra languages, or another chain. Scoped on a call.
People training for something want to keep showing up, and many do not want a watch or an app logging their body. Run clubs and coaches want a simple, honest record of attendance that is not a fitness tracker.
Workout attestation already exists: Apefit (an ETHGlobal project) had buddies attest challenge completion with ApeCoin stakes; Trend and Verifit attest workouts via Sign Protocol; CredStreak stakes ETH on zkTLS Strava proofs. Those attest workout activity or add staking. What is different here is narrower: only a presence witness from another person and a date are stored, with no activity data, no stakes and no payouts. The attestation mechanism itself is not new.
Per session: runner address, witness address (or two), and the day. A short lived code on the runner's screen proves the witness was nearby when signing; the code is checked and discarded. No distance, pace, route, heart rate, location, photos or any body or health data is ever collected.
Let people prove they kept showing up, witnessed by people who care, without handing their bodies to a tracker.
Signed by a friend Every square in the streak carries the name of the person who was there. It feels earned in a way a step count does not.
Nothing to leak There is no body data to store, sell or lose. The app can say that plainly, and it is the reason people trust it.
Saturday signing Crews sign each other at the weekly long run, so the habit belongs to the group, not to a device.
Wallets without fuss: Privy embedded wallets on Base (or Optimism or Solana), with optional Basenames. No seed phrase for runners or witnesses.
Rotating code: The runner's phone shows a code that changes every few seconds and expires after the crew's chosen lifetime, 60 seconds by default. The witness scans or taps it.
Attestation: An EAS attestation on Base with three fields: runner, witness, day. Gas is sponsored by a paymaster, so nobody needs tokens.
Crew rules: Crew settings set the witness rule (any one, two, or coach only), code lifetime and rest days that keep a streak. Rules are versioned and changes are voted by the crew admin.
Streak page and crew view: An indexer over the attestations builds each person's streak, who signed it, and the crew board. Pages are public only if the person chooses.
Crew helper agent: Sends session reminders on planned days only, flags weak signatures like late codes, and writes the weekly crew summary. It never sees or asks for body data.
An EAS attestation on Base usually costs a fraction of a cent in gas; at roughly $0.003 each, a crew of 10 signing 3 sessions a week is under $0.50 a month, paid by a paymaster. Hosting the streak pages and indexer is about $20 a month for hundreds of crews. The helper's reminders and summaries use a small model, roughly $0.001 per message.
Every signature puts the app on a second person's phone, and every share card shows the friend who signed. Clubs run quarterly season challenges, and race organisers can give witnessed streak badges at the start line, which pulls whole crews in.
Friends signing for friends: A witness is only as honest as the person signing. Short code lifetimes, two-witness and coach rules, and showing who signed each session keep it honest enough.
Health data creep: Owners will be tempted to add distance or heart rate. That is locked out by design; adding it would break the core promise and bring health data regulation.
Not a health tool: The app proves attendance only. It must make no health, fitness or medical claims and give no training advice.
Public streaks: Addresses and dates are public onchain. Default to pseudonymous names, and let people keep their streak page private.
Pressure: Streaks can push people to skip rest. Rest days that keep the streak are on by default.
Costs and tools are estimates at the time of writing. General information only, not legal or financial advice.

Sweat Witness lets a training partner sign that you showed up, and stores only that and the date, never your body data. Owning it means the run clubs and gyms that adopt it are your customers, and the streaks their members share carry your brand. In a world of wearables selling data, you run the one that proves effort through people.
The app is deployed for you. Setting up a club means sharing a link, which is a group chat message, not code.
Fitness apps track bodies. Sweat Witness proves someone cared enough to show up with you, which matters to clubs, coaches and people who dislike being tracked. Some people will prefer their watch, and that is fine.
No. Only a signed 'was there' and a date. Say that loudly, it is the reason people will trust you.
They can. A witness is only as good as the person signing. Clubs can require a coach or two witnesses, and streaks show who signed.
Witness records are onchain, so streaks survive a page outage. Setup issues are covered by the get-it-shipped promise.
Individuals use it free, and run clubs, gyms and coaches pay a monthly plan for a branded club page, member streaks and season challenges. Reaching $1M a year is a target, not a promise, and depends on clubs, not individual users.
Illustrative stages, not a forecast. Results depend on you and the market; nothing here is guaranteed.
