The complete Day Pay app: a foreman pays every day labourer at the end of each shift into an account they opened with their Google login, with holds, receipts, a paywall and crypto checkout built in.
Every buyer gets the same finished app. Basic branding and copy changes come through a quick form.
Your admin side: revenue, paywall editor, users, rules and the agent log.
Referral and growth mechanics, switched on when you are ready to grow.
Workers never pay to be paid. Foremen pay a few cents per payout, or a monthly plan per site, and contractors pay for many sites on one bill.
Gas on Aptos is a fraction of a cent per payout and can be sponsored by the site. Cash out partner fees are set by the licensed partner and shown to workers before each cash out.
Prices are yours to set. Illustrative, not a promise of income.

Problem: Millions of casual workers on building sites, farms and warehouses are paid in cash at the end of the week, if at all. They wait days for wages already earned, borrow at high weekly rates, and have no record of the days they worked. Foremen carry large amounts of cash and settle disputes by memory.
Solution: Workers join once with Google and get a self custodied Aptos Keyless account. A gate QR scan plus the foreman's tick releases each day's pay in USDC seconds after scan out, with doubtful check ins held for the foreman.
Why now: Keyless accounts, sponsored transactions and native USDC on Aptos make a no seed phrase, no gas payroll practical, and small models can run the nightly list and explain every hold.
Market: Day labour in construction, agriculture, warehousing and events, starting with foremen and small contractors in markets where mobile money is already how people spend.
The ask: Pilot partners: one contractor with several sites and one licensed cash out partner, plus ecosystem grant funding such as Aptos Foundation Grants.
Funding is never guaranteed. Check each program's rules.

Off chain payroll and earned wage access apps exist, and mobile money is widely used for wages in some markets, but most need an employer integration, a bank or a formal contract. Our research did not find a keyless payroll product built for day labour: workers sign in once with Google, get a self custodied Aptos account, and are paid in USDC at each shift's scan out. The parts (Aptos Keyless accounts, sponsored transactions, native USDC) all exist; the product that joins them for a foreman and twelve labourers is what is new.
Crew list and day rates set by the foreman, gate QR scans with time and approximate location, the foreman's ticks and notes, a daily locked exchange rate, and the onchain payout records. Personal details stay off chain; only amounts, account addresses and a hash of each shift record are public.
Anyone who works a day gets paid that day, into an account they own, with a record that follows them.
Money before the bus home Pay lands seconds after the gate scan. Workers feel it the same evening, which is the whole reason to come back tomorrow.
One tap to join Continue with Google makes the account. No seed phrase, no bank, no app store download needed on site.
A work record that is theirs Every paid day is provable later, for a loan, a chama or the next foreman, and the worker chooses who sees it.
Worker accounts: Aptos Keyless accounts derived from the worker's Google sign in (OpenID Connect). The worker alone controls the account; the app never holds the key.
Site float: The foreman funds a site account in USDC (native on Aptos) from a card or exchange on ramp. A Move module holds the float and only pays crew accounts registered to that site.
Shift proof: A printed gate QR, scanned at check in and check out, plus the foreman's tick. The app compares scan time and rough location before releasing pay; mismatches are held for the foreman.
Payroll agent: A small agent (a cheap model such as Claude Haiku tier for summaries and anomaly notes) builds the night's payout list, locks the morning rate, pays one by one, retries failures and writes a plain language note when it holds anything.
Sponsored gas: Aptos fee payer transactions let the site account pay gas, so workers never need APT.
Cash out: Workers can hold USDC or cash out through a licensed local off ramp partner to mobile money. The app shows the partner's fee before each cash out.
Notifications: SMS or WhatsApp style messages for each payout, held pay and the Sunday digest, so workers without data still know.
An Aptos USDC transfer costs a small fraction of a cent in gas at typical prices (check current fees). Model use for the nightly list and notes is about $0.01 to $0.03 per site per day on a small model. Example month for one 12 person site, 22 working days: about 264 payouts, under $1 in gas, under $1 in model costs, about $10 in SMS, plus hosting.
Workers move between sites and foremen. A worker who already has a Day Pay account asks the next foreman to pay the same way, and foremen recommend it to contractors who want fewer Saturday disputes. Each paid day also builds the worker's own record, which gives them a reason to keep using it.
Labour law: Minimum wage, tax and social contributions still apply. The app records what was paid; it does not replace an employer's legal duties. Launch market by market with local advice.
Cash out access: USDC is only useful if workers can turn it into local money cheaply. Depend on licensed off ramp partners and show fees clearly; never push workers to hold crypto.
Lost Google account: If a worker loses their Google login, they lose access. Encourage a recovery email and offer a guided recovery flow where Keyless supports it.
Buddy punching and coercion: Gate scans plus location plus foreman ticks reduce fake check ins. Payouts go only to the worker's own account, never to a foreman's.
Privacy: Names, locations and notes stay off chain. Only amounts, addresses and shift hashes are public, and workers choose who sees their record.

Day Pay: Pay casual workers at the end of each shift to an account they open with their Google login. Using someone else's version means their rules, their brand and their revenue. Owning Day Pay means it is deployed under your wallet, carries your name, and every customer, partner and result builds your track record instead of theirs.
