The complete Proof of Opinion app: people sign a dated take on Base, friends co-sign, skeptics counter, swarms are caught, and every take settles into a public track record, with a paywall and spam agent built in.
Every buyer gets the same finished app. Basic branding and copy changes come through a quick form.
Your admin side: revenue, paywall editor, users, rules and the agent log.
Referral and growth mechanics, switched on when you are ready to grow.
Free posting with sponsored gas; analysts pay for a verified record page and communities pay for branded walls, in USDC.
Gas is sponsored by the owner at about one cent per take or co-sign.
Prices are yours to set. Illustrative, not a promise of income.
Put your name and a date on what you believe, and be judged on the record.
Problem: Online opinions are judged by volume and followers, and nobody checks back on who was right.
Solution: Takes signed onchain with a check-back date, co-signs weighted by real wallets, linked counter-takes and a settled track record.
Why now: Base makes signing and attesting cost about a cent, and readers are tired of unaccountable takes.
Market: Analysts, writers, research communities and media brands, from free posters to $300 community walls.
The ask: Launch with one analyst community and a transport season.
Funding is never guaranteed. Check each program's rules.
Many hackathons require code written at the event. See the Regatta Boardfor each race's rule.
Branded walls, new chains, data settled takes and media licensing, scoped on a call from $1,000.
Good early calls get lost in group chats and deleted threads, and anyone can claim they said something first. Analysts, writers and ordinary sharp people have no simple, portable way to prove what they said, when, and who stood with them.
Pieces of this already exist: Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) lets anyone sign a dated statement on Base, Zora and Paragraph let writers mint posts, and prediction markets such as Polymarket and Manifold record forecasts with money or play money attached. What is different here is the combination, not a new primitive: a plain-language take with a check-back date, co-signs and linked counter-takes from other wallets, honest weighting of fresh wallets, and a settle-it-yourself track record page, with no betting involved. Novelty is modest; the value is in the format and the habit.
The take text and its hash, the author wallet, the check-back date, a conviction level, co-sign and counter-take signatures, wallet age and Basename lookups for weighting, and the author's own settle notes. No private messages are read or stored.
Make it normal to put your name and a date on what you believe, and to be judged on the record rather than on who shouts loudest.
Receipts for being early A dated, signed take you can link from your bio ends every 'I told you so' argument.
Bring your people Co-signing takes 30 seconds and puts the co-signer on the record too, so friends share it.
Check-back day The take comes due on a date you chose. Settling it in public, hit or miss, keeps people coming back.
Wallets: Privy embedded wallets on Base so posters and co-signers can sign with email or passkey, plus Basenames for readable authors.
Takes as attestations: Each take is an EAS attestation on Base holding the text hash, check-back date and conviction; the full text and evidence link are pinned to IPFS.
Badge contract: A small ERC-1155 contract mints the take badge and records co-sign and counter-take links. Co-sign gas is sponsored with a Base paymaster.
Indexer: A Convex backend indexes attestations and mints to build track record pages and the weekly digest.
Spam weighting agent: A small model tier (for example a Claude Haiku class model through OpenRouter) flags bursts of fresh wallets and links counter-takes; the counting rule itself is deterministic and public.
Notifications: One weekly email or Farcaster frame digest of takes coming due, respecting mutes.
Base gas for a mint or attestation is usually around one US cent or less, but it varies with network load; sponsored co-signs cost the same. The spam agent runs only on bursts, a fraction of a cent per check. Example: 1,000 takes and 8,000 co-signs a month is roughly $60 to $120 in gas plus about $25 for hosting and email. Check current Base fees before pricing.
Every take is a link, and every co-sign asks someone to share it. Settled takes produce a screenshot-worthy card. Analysts who build a record link it from their bios, which brings their readers in to co-sign.
Harmful or defamatory takes: Text hashes are permanent onchain. Keep full text offchain so the front end can hide takes that break a published content policy, and never put names of private people in takes.
Gambling rules: No money rides on a take. Adding stakes would make it a prediction market with its own legal rules in many countries; keep it out.
Sybil co-signs: Fresh wallets are cheap. Weight co-signs by wallet age and Basename and show unverified counts separately instead of hiding them.
Self-grading: Authors settle their own takes. Counter-takes and co-signer notes keep this honest, and the page shows who settled what.
Gas spikes: Sponsored co-signs can get expensive under load. Set a monthly paymaster cap and queue co-signs when it is hit.

Proof of Opinion lets you put your name on a take onchain, mint it as a shareable badge, and let others co-sign it. Post your calls on a social app and the record can be deleted, buried or locked behind someone else's feed. Own it on Base and your track record of takes, your co-signers and your brand live under your wallet, provable forever.
You do not need to. You pick the name, logo and color, and the app is ready to post takes, mint badges and collect co-signs on Base.
That is the point and the risk. A public record of wrong takes is also proof you are honest. Post takes you are willing to stand behind, and add follow up notes when you learn something.
Not at first, unless you ask. Start by asking 5 people who already agree with you to co-sign your first take. Co-signs grow from people you already talk to.
It is your instance, so you set the rules. Keep posting open to your community only at first, write a short content policy, and hide badges that break it from your front end.
Yes. Deployed from your wallet on Base, under your domain. The takes and badges are onchain and not tied to any platform account.
