Fix Proof
Tradespeople log each repair with photos and a customer signature, sealed onchain as a warranty.
Insurance that pays the claim the second you file it, then runs the checks.
Try it live, freeAmara's bike is stolen. She files and the money lands in half a second. Then the checks run. If one fails, the money is taken back and her deposit is kept; honest claimants pay less to be believed next time.

Checked with web searches in October 2026. A search is not proof that nothing similar exists, and the market moves fast, so we recheck before every build.

The complete Upfront app: member cover that pays the claim the second it is filed and runs the checks after, with a paywall, owner console and check agent built in.
Every buyer gets the same finished app. Basic branding and copy changes come through a quick form.
Your admin side: revenue, paywall editor, users, rules and the agent log.

Members pay a monthly premium into the pool; the owner takes a small set fee on premiums. Rider Plus adds items and a falling deposit, and courier companies pay fleet plans.
Owner fee of 0 to 20% of premiums, set in Rules. Payouts and deposit locks on Arc cost well under a cent each.
Prices are yours to set. Illustrative, not a promise of income.
Insurance that pays the claim the second you file it, then runs the checks.
Problem: For a courier, a stolen bike means no income until a claim is paid weeks later, and honest claimants are often treated like suspects because an office is slow.
Solution: A member pool on Arc that pays the cover instantly, locks a small deposit, and runs automated checks afterwards. Only a contradiction plus human review can keep the deposit; delays never can.
Why now: Sub second USDC settlement on Arc and cheap marketplace and vision checks make pay first, check after affordable for small premiums.
Market: Couriers, boda riders and gig workers whose tools are their income, plus the companies and associations they ride for.
The ask: Pilot partners: one courier company and one riders' association in Nairobi, plus Arc and Circle developer programs.
Funding is never guaranteed. Check each program's rules.
Many hackathons require code written at the event. See the Regatta Boardfor each race's rule.
Custom work from $2,500: your own item types and checks, a mobile money premium partner, a police or registry feed, or a fleet branded deployment. Scoped on a call.
For people whose income depends on one tool, like a courier's bike, the weeks between a loss and a claim payout are the real damage. Traditional insurance verifies first and pays weeks later.
Onchain cover exists: Nexus Mutual pools member capital and votes on claims, and Etherisc runs parametric products such as crop and flight cover that pay automatically on a trigger. We did not find cover that pays an ordinary, non parametric claim immediately and verifies afterwards, with a claim deposit that is kept and a recorded debt if a check fails, and deposits that shrink with a clean history. That pay first, verify after design is the new part; the clawback is limited to the deposit plus future premiums, which is an honest limit, not a guarantee.
Member records, cover amounts and deposit levels, payouts, hashed check results and clawback records on Arc. Police reports, photos, tag location trails and identity stay encrypted offchain with the pool.
Make honest people whole the moment something goes wrong, and make dishonesty the costly path instead of honesty.
Money in half a second The payout lands before the rider has finished calling dispatch.
Cheaper to be believed Every clean year lowers the deposit, a number members watch go down.
Waiting is not failing Slow offices never cost an honest member their deposit.
Wallets: Privy embedded wallets with passkeys; members pay premiums and deposits in USDC.
Pool contract on Arc: A pool contract holds premiums and deposits, pays claims instantly up to cover, locks the claimant's deposit for the check window and records clawback debts.
Checks service: After payout, a worker runs checks: police reference verification, serial search across marketplace listings, bike tag location history and photo metadata. Results are written as hashes with pass, fail or waiting.
Vision model: A small vision capable model (for example Claude Haiku tier) reads serial numbers from listing photos; costs are a fraction of a cent per image.
Human review: Any failed check goes to a named reviewer from the pool before a deposit is kept; members can appeal with new evidence.
Attestations: Clean claim history is recorded as an attestation (EAS style) the member can carry to another pool.
Notifications: Push or SMS for payout, check results and the Sunday score.
One payout and one deposit lock on Arc cost well under one cent in USDC gas (check current fees). Checks per claim: marketplace search and a few vision calls, about $0.02 to $0.05. Example month for a 1,400 rider pool with 150 claims: under $10 in gas and model costs, plus about $60 for hosting and SMS.
Riders talk. One stolen bike paid in a second is the story shared in every riders' group, and associations bring whole fleets.
Insurance law: Selling insurance is regulated almost everywhere, including Kenya. Pools must operate through a licensed insurer, a mutual or a regulatory sandbox; the app is software.
Clawback limits: Beyond the deposit, recovery depends on the member paying premiums again. Fraud that walks away costs the pool; pricing must include it.
Wrongful failure: A bad check can punish an honest member. Human review, appeals and the waiting state exist for this.
Privacy: Police reports and location trails are sensitive. They stay encrypted offchain, only hashes and outcomes go onchain.
Pool solvency: A theft wave can drain reserves. The reserve is published weekly and payouts pause, visibly, below a floor.

Upfront: Insurance that pays the claim the second you file it, then runs the checks. Using someone else's version means their rules, their brand and their revenue. Owning Upfront means it is deployed under your wallet, carries your name, and every customer, partner and result builds your track record instead of theirs.
Upfront arrives deployed with a guide. Running it is settings and sharing links, not code. If you get stuck, we help you ship it.
Start with ten people you already know. The first move below takes under an hour and tells you fast whether people care.
Each step is sized in minutes. Most owners spend an hour a week, and the app does the repetitive part.
Nothing is guaranteed. The playbook gives you a clear path and honest numbers, and you decide how far to take it.
Charge the people who get the most value from Upfront: a monthly plan for groups or teams, plus setup fees for anyone who wants it done for them.
Illustrative stages, not a forecast. Results depend on you and the market; nothing here is guaranteed.
