Turn any API or prompt you own into a pay-per-call endpoint agents can buy from in a minute.
Try it live, freeSam has a great weather-for-farmers API. Toll Booth wraps it in x402, lists it in an agent directory, and USDC drips in from agents calling it overnight.
x402 proxy for one endpoint, price setting, agent directory listing, earnings page
Reshape it entirely: new features, your flows, your brand end to end, integrations you need. We scope it with you.
Wrap-and-list x402 tooling is live; the value is a simpler owned storefront, not a new mechanic.
Polygon Agentic Services wraps existing REST endpoints in x402 and lists them, Coinbase x402 Bazaar handles agent discovery, and Ag402 and 1ly.store offer similar sell-an-endpoint flows.
Checked with web searches in October 2026. A search is not proof that nothing similar exists, and the market moves fast, so we recheck before every build.

The complete Toll Booth app: builders put a pay per call booth in front of any API, agents pay in USDC over x402, payments settle straight to the builder's wallet, with plans and checkout built in.
Every buyer gets the same finished app. Basic branding and copy changes come through a quick form.
Your admin side: revenue, paywall editor, users, rules and the agent log.
Referral and growth mechanics, switched on when you are ready to grow.
One booth is free and the owner keeps a small share of settled volume; builders who need more endpoints, per route pricing or exports pay monthly.
Volume fee set by the owner (default 2 percent of settled volume on free booths). Payments settle directly to the builder's wallet; the app never holds funds.
Prices are yours to set. Illustrative, not a promise of income.
Put a pay per call booth in front of any API, and AI agents pay a fraction of a cent in USDC for every call.
Problem: Small builders have useful APIs but no way to charge agents per call without accounts, keys and invoices.
Solution: An x402 booth that answers unpaid calls with a price, settles USDC straight to the builder, caps floods, keeps a free lane, and lists the booth where agents look.
Why now: x402 makes HTTP payments native, USDC on Base settles for fractions of a cent, and agents are now calling APIs on their own.
Market: Indie API builders, data providers and prompt makers selling to AI agents.
The ask: Pilot with 100 builders at a local builder night and grow through named 402s and directory listings.
Funding is never guaranteed. Check each program's rules.
Many hackathons require code written at the event. See the Regatta Boardfor each race's rule.
Custom work from $600: your own endpoints and pricing rules, a branded booth directory, your facilitator setup or other chains. Scoped on a call.
Lots of people own a small, useful API or prompt. Agents already want to call these, but billing a machine with sign ups, keys and invoices is too much work, so the tool stays free and gets scraped, or gets locked away.
This exists. Polygon Agentic Services wraps existing REST endpoints in x402 and lists them, Coinbase's x402 Bazaar handles agent discovery, and Ag402 and 1ly.store offer similar sell-an-endpoint flows. What this app adds is a simpler storefront you own under your own name: one endpoint in a minute, a reserved free lane for your human users, per payer caps, and settle-only-on-fresh-answer refunds by default. It is a packaging and ownership play, not a new mechanic.
Your endpoint URL and its responses (forwarded, not stored beyond short logs), the price you set, payment receipts in USDC on Base or Arc, per payer request counts for rate caps, and directory search terms that lead agents to you.
Let anyone with a useful little tool open a shop for machines, without giving up the people who use it for free.
Money arrives while you sleep A morning tally of last night's paid calls is a small, real reason to open the app every day.
No code change Paste a URL, set a price, done. The booth is a proxy that speaks x402 in front of what you already run.
Your users stay free A reserved free lane means charging machines never costs your community anything.
Proxy: A small edge worker (for example a Cloudflare Worker or Vercel function) sits in front of the owner's endpoint and answers unpaid requests with HTTP 402 and an x402 payment requirement.
Payments: x402 exact scheme with USDC on Base, or on Arc where supported. A facilitator such as the Coinbase CDP facilitator verifies and settles, so the owner never holds agent keys.
Settle on fresh answer: The proxy verifies payment first, calls the upstream API with a timeout, and settles only if a fresh response comes back. Timeouts and errors are not charged.
Caps and lanes: Per payer rate caps (for example 300 calls a minute, then 429) and a reserved route or API key for the owner's free human users that is never sold.
Discovery: Listing metadata (description, schema, price) published to x402 discovery directories and agent tool registries, rewritten from the search terms agents actually use.
Earnings page: A simple dashboard reads settlement events from Base or Arc and the proxy's logs to show calls, revenue, refunds and top callers.
Notifications: A morning digest by email or Telegram with last night's tally and one suggested change, which the owner approves before anything is published.
Per paid call: Base gas is usually a fraction of a cent, and the Coinbase CDP facilitator lists a free tier of 1,000 transactions a month and about $0.001 per transaction after that, so very cheap calls are best batched or priced at $0.002 or more. Edge proxy hosting is often free to a few dollars a month at this scale. Example month: 500,000 paid calls at $0.002 is $1,000 gross; facilitator fees around $500 at list price unless batched or self hosted, hosting about $5. Check current facilitator pricing before launch.
Every listing is discoverable by agents, and every 402 response carries the booth's name, so builders who see one tend to open their own. Owners share their morning tally card, which is a natural, honest brag.
Low demand: Listing does not guarantee callers. The app should say so plainly and show real search demand before the owner pays for anything.
Facilitator fees on tiny prices: Per transaction fees can exceed very small prices. Warn when price is below fee, suggest batching or a higher floor.
Abuse and floods: Paid floods can still starve capacity. Per payer caps and a reserved free lane are on by default.
Upstream failures: Charging for stale or failed answers breaks trust. Settle only after a fresh response, and show refund rate publicly.
Legal and data rights: The owner must have the right to sell the data they proxy, and may need to handle tax on income. The app does not give tax or legal advice.
Costs and tools are estimates at the time of writing. General information only, not legal or financial advice.

Toll Booth turns any API or prompt you own into a shop that AI agents can buy from at any hour. Owning it means the endpoints, the pricing, and every USDC payment land in your wallet, and your onchain record shows a real machine to machine business. On someone else's marketplace, they set the rules and take the margin.
You do not need to. Toll Booth ships ready to deploy, and every path here is written for non coders. When you want to change something deeper, you can hire help or ask DEPLOYR support.
Yes. It is deployed from your wallet, the contract address is public, and the brand, users, and revenue are yours. DEPLOYR does not hold your keys or take a cut of your app's revenue.
That is a real risk. Agent traffic is still growing. Start with a tool people already ask you for, list it in agent directories, and track calls. Do not quit anything based on it.
Paid calls to a broken API annoy agents and their owners. Set up a simple uptime check and refund or pause pricing when it fails.
Selling your own data or tool is usually fine. Do not resell someone else's API unless their terms allow it, and respect privacy rules for any personal data.
You earn per call from agents paying in USDC, plus optional monthly fees from other API owners if you host endpoints for them. $1M a year is a target, not a promise.
Illustrative stages, not a forecast. Results depend on you and the market; nothing here is guaranteed.
