WHY THIS ROUTE

Safety tools demo well: judges instantly understand a missed heartbeat and a letter arriving, and many events have consumer safety or account abstraction tracks.

ARRIVED LOOKS LIKE

Entered one hackathon with a new feature built during the event, demo submitted on time.

NEXT MOVE · WITHIN THE HOUR

1. Pick one race on the Regatta Board

30 min

Open /hackathons, filter for consumer, safety or account abstraction tracks on your chain, and read each event's rule on existing code. Many require new work during the event, so plan a feature, not a resubmission.

FIRST MESSAGE · HACKATHON DISCORD · TO THE ORGANISERS' HELP CHANNEL

Hi organisers, I have a live app (Handoff Vault) and plan to build a brand new guardian quorum feature during the event, in a fresh repo branch with commits timestamped this weekend. Is that within the rules on existing code?

2. Choose one new feature you can ship in 48 hours

20 min

Good options: passkey check-ins, a guardian quorum (two of three must confirm), or SMS reminders. Write it down in one sentence.

3. Find a teammate who can design or film

15 min

Post in the hackathon's team channel. A clear 2-minute video wins more often than extra code.

FIRST MESSAGE · HACKATHON DISCORD TEAM-FINDING CHANNEL · TO DESIGNERS AND VIDEO MAKERS

Looking for a designer or video person for a safety track. I have a live heartbeat contract that sends encrypted letters to guardians after missed check-ins; this weekend I am adding guardian quorum. I need someone to make the demo look and feel human. DM me.

4. Record a demo using a 3-minute heartbeat

60 min

Set a demo vault to a tiny interval so judges see the full cycle live. Show the explorer link and say clearly that no keys are stored.

5. Submit early and post your entry

30 min

Submit a few hours before the deadline, then share the entry publicly. Prizes are never certain; the feature and the audience stay with you either way.
