WHY THIS ROUTE
Library of Things sits in a category (community and public goods) that ecosystem funds openly say they want: real people doing real things onchain. Owning the contract and the user list gives you something concrete to show a program, not just an idea.
ARRIVED LOOKS LIKE
Three applications submitted to grant or accelerator programs, each with live usage numbers, within 30 days. Funding is never guaranteed; the goal is a strong, honest application.

NEXT MOVE · WITHIN THE HOUR

1. List five programs that fit

50 min

Search for the Base, Polygon or Celo ecosystem grants page, current Gitcoin rounds that match community and public goods, and accelerators in the style of Alliance or a16z CSX. Put each in a sheet with deadline, amount range and what they ask for.

2. Write a one page brief

60 min

Cover: the problem (every street owns twelve drills nobody uses, and lending feels risky without deposits or trust), who uses Library of Things today, your live numbers, what money would unlock, and that you own the deployment from your own wallet. Keep it under 400 words.

3. Email a program lead before applying

20 min

Find a named contact on the program page or in their public Discord. Ask one specific question about fit. This shows you read their criteria and helps your application land in the right pile.

FIRST MESSAGE · EMAIL OR DISCORD · TO THE PROGRAM LEAD LISTED ON THE GRANTS PAGE

Hi, I run Library of Things, a community and public goods app live on Base, Polygon or Celo from my own wallet. We have a few dozen completed loans so far. Before I apply, is a project at this stage a fit for your current round, or should I wait for the next one? Happy to share a one page brief. Thanks for your time.

4. Submit and follow up once

45 min

Submit the application with real screenshots and your contract address. Ten days later, send one polite follow up. Then move on to the next program regardless of the answer.

FIRST MESSAGE · EMAIL · TO THE SAME PROGRAM CONTACT

Hi again, I submitted Library of Things to your round on the date listed in the portal. Since then we have grown to a few dozen completed loans. No rush on a decision, I just wanted you to have the latest number. Thank you.
